"Oh, sweet, stupid Evelyn," Victoria sneered, lowering the gun slightly.
"You thought I was standing up for you in front of the guests?" Victoria mocked.
"You are a monster," Evelyn said, staring at the woman with pure disgust.
"I am a mother protecting the reputation of the Sterling bloodline," Victoria corrected coldly.
"Where is my real baby?" Evelyn demanded, taking a dangerous step forward.
"Your real baby is somewhere you will never find him," Victoria taunted.
"He was born weak, Evelyn," Victoria added without a shred of remorse.
"A weak child has no place in this family," she spat.
"Give me the location or I swear I will burn this entire estate to the ground!" Evelyn screamed.
Victoria laughed, a hollow and chilling sound that echoed off the high ceiling.
"You have no power here, girl," Victoria said, raising the gun again.
"Marcus, lock her in the basement safe house," Victoria commanded.
Marcus took a step forward, positioning himself beside Victoria.
Suddenly, Marcus grabbed Victoria’s wrist and twisted it upward.
