Chapter 19 - THE FINAL CONFRONTATION
Julian looked like a cornered animal as his empire crumbled around him in seconds.
He lunged toward Evelyn, his eyes filled with maniacal rage.
"You ruined everything!" Julian screamed at her.
Before he could reach her, two court officers tackled him to the marble floor.
They pinned his arms behind his back and slapped heavy iron handcuffs onto his wrists.
Julian thrashed wildly on the floor, staring up at Evelyn with pure venom.
Evelyn walked slowly over to where he was pinned down.
She looked down at him with no fear left in her eyes, only cold pity.
"You said I was a ghost in this family, Julian," Evelyn said, her voice clear and resonant.
"But ghosts don't vanish," she whispered softly.
"Ghosts come back to haunt the men who destroyed them," she added.
The judge slammed his gavel down three times, the loud booms echoing through the chamber.
"Order in the court!" Judge Harrison roared.

"This hearing is terminated! I am issuing an immediate protective order for Evelyn Sterling and her child!" the judge ruled.
"Take these defendants into federal custody immediately!" the judge commanded.
