Chapter 14 - Bloodlines
Julian fell to his knees, staring at Gabriel as if seeing a ghost.
"Gabriel?!" Julian shrieked.
"You're... you were supposed to be dead!"
"I don't die easily, brother," Gabriel said coldly.
Viktor swung his revolver toward Gabriel.
Gabriel moved faster, firing two shots straight through Viktor’s wrists.
The revolver clattered across the floor as Viktor screamed in agony, clutching his hands.
Bruno stepped out of the shadows, standing directly beside Gabriel.
The dog’s throat rumbled with a violent growl.
"Please, Gabriel!" Julian wept, crawling toward his brother.
"I did it for my son! They took my son!"
Gabriel kicked Julian backward onto his back.
"You poisoned an eight-year-old girl!" Gabriel shouted, his composure shattering.
"You put my child in a coffin!"
"Where is your son, Julian?" Gabriel asked through gritted teeth.
"Tell me right now!"
Julian sobbed uncontrollably, pointing a shaking finger toward the back office.
"They... they locked him in the vault downstairs!"
"They were using him to keep me compliant!"
