Chapter 19 - The Point of No Return
"I knew you two would be stupid enough to come back here," Vance said with a cold, sinister grin.
He drew a taser from his coat pocket and pointed it directly at Leo’s chest.
"Hand over the flash drive, Leo, or I drop you right here," Vance warned.
Suddenly, Maya stepped out from behind Leo, holding her phone aloft in front of her.
"We are live-streaming this to over fifty thousand people right now, Mr. Vance," Maya declared loudly.
Vance blinked in surprise, looking down at the glowing screen showing thousands of live viewer comments scrolling at high speed.
"You're bluffing!" Vance sneered, taking a step forward.
"Try me," Maya said coldly. "The whole city is watching you point a weapon at two minors."
In his moment of hesitation and panic, Leo tackled Vance to the floor, knocking the taser out of his hand.

"Go, Maya! Lock the projection room door from the inside!" Leo yelled while holding Vance down.
Maya sprinted down the hallway, pushed open the projection room door, and slammed it shut, sliding the heavy iron bolt into place.
