Chapter 11 - The Betrayal Unveiled
"I would never betray my own brother!" Leo shouted, grabbing his head in agony.
"Then why did Marcus have Julian's private location map three years ago?" Maya demanded, pointing her finger at Leo's chest.
Leo stopped dead in his tracks.
He remembered that night three years ago.
He had lent his laptop to Marcus to finish a group school project.
Julian’s private digital diary had been saved on that very laptop’s hard drive!
"Marcus copied my hard drive..." Leo realized out loud, his face turning ghostly pale. "He tricked me."
Maya stared at him, her expression softening slightly as she saw the genuine horror and devastation in his eyes.
