Chapter 1 - The Recorded Lie
The red recording light on the ceiling camera blinked steadily.
Vanessa scrambled on the cold marble floor, her hands trembling.
Nathan stood over her, his chest heaving with uncontrolled rage.
His young son, Leo, stepped back and gripped his grandmother’s hand.
"Get up," Nathan growled, his voice dangerously low.
"Nathan, please, let me explain!" Vanessa cried, clutching her flattened dress.
"Explain what?" Nathan shouted, pointing at the ceiling.
"Explain how you bought a silicon belly and lied about carrying my child?"
"She manipulated you, Nathan!" Leo’s grandmother, Margaret, declared bitterly.
"I told you this woman was a snake from the moment she entered this house!"
Vanessa looked at Leo with eyes full of hatred.
"You brat... you ruined everything!" she hissed.
"Don't you dare touch my son!" Nathan stepped between them, his eyes blazing.
Vanessa realized her grand scheme was instantly shattered.
The secret she kept for six months had vanished in a single second.
"Security!" Nathan roared through the high-ceiling hallway.
Two large guards rushed into the foyer immediately.
"Throw this fraud out of my house," Nathan ordered.
"And make sure she doesn't take a single luxury item with her."
"Nathan, no! You can't do this to me!" Vanessa screamed as guards grabbed her arms.
She dragged her feet, leaving scuff marks on the pristine floor.
As she was dragged through the front doors, she locked eyes with Margaret.
A dark, terrifying smile slowly appeared on Vanessa’s face.
"You think this is over?" Vanessa whispered darkly.

The doors slammed shut, leaving a heavy, chilling silence behind.
