Chapter 19 - The Final Standoff
"You were always the favorite son, Richard," Julian snarled, his finger tightening on the trigger.
"Father left you the company, and now Eleanor wants the legacy," Julian raged.
"I'm taking the money and burning this entire family to the ground!" Julian shouted.
Victoria suddenly threw her body weight against Julian’s legs, throwing off his aim.
A blast shattered the floor tiles as Julian fired wildly into the ground.
Eleanor lunged toward the master server console, grabbing a red override key.
Julian kicked Victoria away and turned the shotgun toward Eleanor.
Richard lunged forward, tackling Julian over the executive desk.
The two brothers crashed through the outer glass window into the open air.
They swung wildly at each other on the narrow, rain-slick ledge fifty stories above the pavement.
"Give me the key ring, Richard!" Julian screamed over the howling wind.
"It ends here, Julian!" Richard shouted back, hanging onto the ledge with one hand.

Julian slipped, his fingers sliding off Richard’s wet leather sleeve.
