Chapter 18 - The Falling Dominoes
"Even if that's true, you allied with criminals to destroy everything!" Richard shouted.
"The Syndicate was founded by our father, Richard!" Eleanor screamed back.
"He built this entire empire on blood money, human trafficking, and extortion!" Eleanor revealed.
"I didn't bring the Syndicate into your life; you were born into it!" Eleanor added bitterly.
Suddenly, the heavy reinforced doors of the penthouse burst open.
Julian stood in the doorway, covered in soot, holding an automatic shotgun.
Behind him, Victoria walked in, her hands bound tightly with zip-ties.
"Drop the weapon, Eleanor!" Julian ordered, aiming directly at his half-sister.
"Julian, stop!" Richard yelled, stepping between Julian and Eleanor.
"She's our sister," Richard said, his voice shaking.
Julian laughed maniacally, his eyes completely bloodshot with rage and greed.
"I don't care who her mother was!" Julian screamed.

Julian pointed the barrel away from Eleanor and aimed it directly at Richard’s chest.
