Chapter 19 - The Final Ultimatum
An hour later, the rain outside Vanguard Tower began to clear, giving way to the dark night sky.
Ethan walked out of the corporate headquarters into the private underground garage.
Waiting beside his original black Porsche was his head security officer, bowing respectfully.
"Sir, the Vance Syndicate has been completely dismantled," the officer reported.
"All assets have been transferred into your private trust," the officer added.
Ethan unlocked the Porsche with his custom matte-black key fob.
The deep engine rumble echoed through the vast concrete garage once more.
He slid into the driver's seat and looked at the center console screen.
A single message popped up on the display:
"SYSTEM RESTORED. EMPIRE SECURED."

Ethan smiled a subtle, satisfied smirk in the rearview mirror.
He pulled out of the garage and hit the accelerator, leaving his old life behind.
