The steel door of the maximum-security holding cell slammed shut with a heavy thud.

Ethan sat calmly on the narrow wooden bench, unbothered by the concrete walls.

Through the small iron gate, Richard stood watching him with smug satisfaction.

"Your assets are frozen, your cars are seized, and your reputation is dead," Richard declared.

"No court in this country will ever set bail for a traitor," Richard scoffed.

Suddenly, a high-ranking police commander rushed down the hallway, looking pale.

"Unlock this door immediately!" the commander shouted frantically at the guard.

Richard’s smug expression instantly melted into confusion.

"What are you doing? He's a high-risk prisoner!" Richard protested loudly.

"A cashier's check for five hundred million dollars just cleared from the central bank," the commander gasped.

"The bail was paid in full by the Supreme Magistrate of International Trade."

The heavy steel door swung open.
