Chapter 14 - The Impostor
At the top floor of the Grand Vanguard Tower, the board of directors gathered in silence.
Sitting at the head of the long mahogany table was a man dressed in a white shirt.
He looked identical to Ethan from behind, holding the master signet ring.
"As the rightful heir to Vanguard, I call this meeting to order," the man declared smoothly.
The board members whispered among themselves, eager to regain stability.
Richard stood beside him, holding the contract transfer papers.
"Sign here, sir, and the Vance alliance will be finalized," Richard urged greedily.
The impostor raised the pen to sign the multi-billion dollar document.
BOOM!
The reinforced glass doors of the boardroom shattered into a thousand pieces.
Ethan walked through the smoke, holding a heavy iron briefcase in his right hand.
