Chapter 10 - THE UNEXPECTED REVELATION
Vance signaled his men to restrain Marcus.
Two mercenaries grabbed Marcus's arms and slammed him onto his knees.
Vance walked over, pulling a sleek black pistol from his jacket.
"You know, Marcus, you remind me of the boy's father," Vance remarked casually.
Marcus glared up at him with unyielding hatred.
"His father was a good man," Marcus hissed.
"His father was my foolish younger brother!" Vance barked sharply.
Marcus froze, his brain struggling to process the sudden revelation.
"What?" Marcus whispered in shock.
"Leo is my nephew," Vance sneered, pressing the gun barrel against Marcus’s forehead.
"My brother threatened to expose my business, so I eliminated him."
"His mother thought she could hide the boy and his sister from me."
"Sister?" Marcus repeated, his heart pounding wildly.
"The baby isn't my child, Marcus," Vance laughed sinisterly.
"That baby is Leo's infant sister!"
"My brother's secret second child!"
Marcus realized the horrifying truth.
Vance wasn't trying to hide an illegitimate child—he was trying to erase his brother's entire bloodline to secure his total claim to the family fortune.
In the van outside, Leo heard every single word through Marcus's live microphone feed.
Tears streamed down Leo’s face, but his expression hardened into pure steel.
"Sarah," Leo said, his voice dropping to a terrifying calm tone.
"Hit the switch."
"Leo, wait—" Sarah tried to stop him.
Leo slammed his hand onto the broadcast button on the laptop console.
Inside the grand ballroom below, the classical music suddenly cut out.
Vance's voice echoed loudly from every speaker across the entire mansion.
