Victoria swirled the champagne glass gently, her gaze burning into Julian.

"Did you really think it would be that easy, Julian?" she sneered softly.

"You threw me out like trash into the street."

"Now, everything you built belongs to my investors."

Julian stepped in front of Clara and Leo, his body rigid with fury.

"You traded our son to payoff debt collectors, Victoria," Julian said through grit teeth.

"He was never your son!" Victoria snapped, her calm veneer instantly cracking.

"He was a tool to keep your fortune tied to my name!"

Clara squeezed Leo tightly, feeling the young boy trembling against her chest.

"You're a sick monster," Clara declared, her voice ringing with fierce anger.

Victoria let out a harsh, bitter laugh that echoed through the hollow warehouse.

"A maid giving moral advice?" Victoria taunted, stepping closer into the pale light.

"You won't survive the night to tell this story, Clara."

Shadows moved along the elevated steel catwalks above them.

Four heavily armed guards stepped into view, laser sights aiming down at Julian's chest.
