Chapter 19 - THE TRUTH UNVEILED
Leo's mind raced at blinding speed.
If he shot Victor, he might miss, and Raymond would die from the poison.
If he dropped the gun, Victor would kill them all anyway.
Leo suddenly lowered the pistol, pointing it directly at the central main glass wall behind Victor.
"What are you doing?!" Victor demanded, his eyes flashing with sudden confusion.
"I'm not going to shoot you, Victor," Leo said, his voice dropping into a razor-sharp whisper.
"I'm going to unlock the vault."
Leo smashed his left hand down onto the biometric security terminal built into the main pillar beside him.
The scanner flashed bright blue as it analyzed his bloodline DNA.
“Bio-metric match confirmed: Heir Arthur Sterling II,” the computer voice boomed across the room.
“Initiating full broadcast of sealed corporate archives...”
"No! Stop!" Victor shrieked, his arrogant composure instantly shattering into sheer panic.
Every digital screen in the penthouse—and every news network terminal across the city—instantly lit up.
Audio files of Victor ordering the car crash began to play loudly over the building's outer PA system.
Bank documents detailing billions in illegal money laundering began uploading to federal servers in real-time.
"You little bastard!" Victor roared, pulling a small derringer pistol from his velvet jacket.
He aimed directly at Leo's chest.
"I'll destroy you myself!" Victor screamed.
