Suddenly, the grand double mahogany doors of the library slowly and gracefully creaked open.

A mature, breathtakingly elegant woman dressed in a floor-length dark trench coat stepped gracefully into the warm light.

She possessed the exact same striking, hopeful hazel eyes and dark raven hair as Evelyn.

"Mom...?" Evelyn whispered out, her voice barely audible above a tiny gasp.

The elegant woman’s lips trembled uncontrollably as heavy, joyful tears streamed freely down her regal face.

"My beautiful, brave little girl," Victoria spoken softly, opening her arms wide to the room.

Evelyn sprinted across the massive library floor and threw her entire body desperately into her mother's warm arms.

They sobbed uncontrollably together, holding each other with absolute, desperate tightness after twenty excruciating years apart.
