Chapter 15 - The Absolute Reversal

Harrison calmly raised his left hand, silencing Evelyn’s panicked cries with absolute authority.

"It is quite alright, Evelyn," Harrison said softly, his tone filled with an eerie, unshakeable calm.

Without another word, he pressed his pen to the paper and fluidly signed his full legal name.

Arthur grinned with extreme, victorious arrogance, stepping forward and extending his hand for the signed pages.

"A remarkably wise choice, my dear older brother," Arthur sneered mockingly.

"You always possessed a pathetic, weak spot when it came to protecting family."

Harrison handed the signed corporate transfer agreement directly over to his younger brother.

Arthur meticulously scanned the official signature under the bright lamp, verifying every single letter.

Then, with a sickening, sadistic grin on his face, he violently pressed the red button on the remote control anyway.

"Oops," Arthur sneered with absolute, dark malice.

"Did I accidentally imply that I would actually let those pathetic servants live?"

"You monstrous psychopath!" Evelyn screamed at the top of her lungs, recklessly lunging directly at him.

Arthur roughly shoved her away with heavy force, but as the seconds ticked by, absolute silence reigned.

No alarm sirens blared through the mansion corridors.

No deadly carbon monoxide gas hissed through the heavy ventilation ducts.

Arthur stared down at the black remote control device in his hand in sudden, frantic confusion.

He repeatedly, violently smashed his thumb down on the red button over and over again.

"Why... why isn't the system activating?!" Arthur screamed out, panic instantly shattering his composure.

"Because I had my private intelligence team completely dismantle and purge that gas system two hours ago, Arthur," Harrison revealed coldly
