Chapter 12 - The Warehouse
They reached the warehouse before dawn.
Sebastián.
Valeria.
Gabriel.
Camila.
Four people connected by six years of lies.
Inside, they found the server.
They also found Octavio.
He was waiting.
“You really should have brought the police.”
Sebastián stepped forward.
Octavio smiled.
“Because now nobody will know what happened here.”
Lights came on.
Men appeared along the catwalk.
Gabriel swore.
Valeria looked around.
Then smiled.
Octavio noticed.
“What?”
“You still think I came here for the server.”
His expression changed.
Valeria lifted her phone.
“I started streaming twelve minutes ago.”
Octavio lunged.
Sebastián intercepted him.
Chaos erupted.
Camila reached the server.
Gabriel fought one of Octavio’s men.
Valeria ran toward the office.
Then she saw a monitor.
A video was already playing.
The missing footage.
Seventeen minutes.
Valeria froze.
She watched herself fall beside the greenhouse.
Dr. Mena approached.
Then another person entered.
Octavio.
Then Rebeca.
But none of them caused the bruises.
The final person appeared at 11:47.
Valeria covered her mouth.
