Six months later.
The Somor Resort reopened.
Not as a monument to luxury.
But as a symbol of integrity.
Every employee received ethics training.
Every financial record became transparent.
Victims of the fraud were fully compensated.
Victor officially introduced Sophia during the company's annual shareholders' meeting.
"This..."
He said proudly.
"...is my granddaughter."
"...and the future Chairwoman of Somor Group."
The room stood in applause.
Sophia accepted the position with one condition.
"No family member will ever be above the law."
The board unanimously agreed.
After the meeting...
Sophia walked alone to the seaside cliff where her car had gone over the edge months before.
She placed her mother's old Somor badge on the stone railing.
Then she smiled softly toward the ocean.
"We finished it, Mom."
The wind carried away the last traces of the past.
