The office door burst open.
Masked gunmen stormed inside.
"Nobody move!"
Bullets shattered the windows.
Victor shoved Sophia behind his desk.
The head of security drew his weapon.
A fierce gunfight erupted.
Glass exploded.
Smoke filled the room.
Sophia crawled toward the emergency wall panel.
She remembered every hidden passage inside the resort.
Her grandfather had designed them decades ago.
She pressed a concealed switch.
Part of the bookshelf rotated.
"Move!"
Victor helped her inside.
The legal counsel followed.
The head of security remained behind, covering their escape.
The hidden tunnel echoed with distant gunfire.
Sophia leaned against the wall, struggling to breathe.
Victor looked at her.
"Who wants you dead?"
She answered without hesitation.
"The same people who murdered my parents."
A loud explosion shook the tunnel.
The office above had just been destroyed.
