Two hours later, the main news studio of Channel 4 News was bustling with live morning broadcasts.
The executive producer sat in the control room, sipping coffee and reviewing the teleprompter.
Suddenly, the heavy glass doors of the control room slammed open.
Emily Sterling walked in, covered in dried mud and blood, holding the black flash drive.
Security guards rushed forward, reaching for their batons.
"Don't touch her!" Julian shouted, holding up his official legal credentials.
"If you interrupt this broadcast, you will be named as co-conspirators in a federal murder investigation!"
The news anchor on stage froze mid-sentence as Emily stepped directly onto the live television set.
The red recording light on the main studio camera glowed brightly.
Millions of viewers across the nation watched in utter shock as the "dead" heiress appeared on their screens.
"My name is Emily Sterling," she said, looking straight into the camera lens with fierce intensity.
"And three days ago, I was buried alive by the man who murdered my real husband."
The phone lines in the studio began flashing red endlessly.
"The man you know as Arthur Sterling is an impostor," Emily continued, her voice echoing clearly nationwide.
"He tried to steal my life, my money, and my sanity."
"And today, I am exposing every single person who helped him."

Across the city, bank accounts froze, arrest warrants generated automatically, and panicked corrupt officials began fleeing their offices.
