Ryan stood inside a courtroom.

Witness statements.
Photos.
Everything.
The truth they buried had returned.
Ryan's lawyer tried to argue.
"Mr. Carter was under stress."
The judge looked at the evidence.
"Stress does not justify abuse."
Linda was also questioned.
Her role became clear.
She had helped create the story.
She had told family members Emily was "dramatic."
She had convinced people not to believe her.

She walked into the courtroom.

Emily gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
