Daniel resigned as CEO.
The board accepted immediately.
Some directors wouldn’t even look at him.
News vans remained outside the mansion.
Headlines called the Whitmore family a criminal dynasty.
Daniel lost friends he had known for twenty years.

Digital records proved Charles had forged authorizations.
