Chapter 7: A New Sterling Family

Months passed.
The Sterling mansion changed.
The cold atmosphere disappeared.
The marble floors were still beautiful.
The crystal chandelier still shined.
But now...
There was laughter.
Children's toys returned to the hall.
Not as decorations.
But because a child actually lived there.
Raymond spent more time at home.
He learned that success wasn't measured by companies.
Or money.
Or reputation.
One evening, his son ran into his arms.
"Daddy!"
Raymond smiled.
The same man who once controlled billion-dollar deals now cared about something much more valuable.
Five small fingers holding his hand.
Clara watched from the doorway.
"You look happier."
Raymond smiled.
"I finally understand what I was missing."
"What?"
May you like
He looked at his family.
"Home."
