Chapter 5: Rebecca's Choice
After Evelyn's betrayal became public, Rebecca disappeared.
For days, nobody heard from her.
Raymond expected her to defend their mother.

He opened the door.

Raymond listened quietly.
Then said:
"An apology doesn't erase what happened."
Rebecca nodded.
"I know."
"But I want to change."
