The trial began three months later.
And the final witness shocked everyone.
Arthur Hale.
The courtroom became silent when he walked in.
The prosecutor asked:
“Mr. Hale, can you explain your background?”
Arthur looked toward Lily.
Then answered:
“For fifteen years, I chose to live as a normal man.”
The prosecutor continued.

Arthur took a breath.
