The next day, the entire town gathered at the ranch.
Victor had demanded a legal hearing.
He wanted Shadow taken away.
But Thomas had one final piece of evidence.
A hidden video.
Years ago, Daniel had installed cameras around the stable because he suspected someone was sabotaging his horses.
The footage showed everything.
Victor’s men entering the stable.
Victor ordering them to frighten Shadow.
Victor planning the accident.
The truth finally came out.
The crowd watched silently.
The man who had appeared powerful for years was exposed.
Victor was arrested.

A lawyer arrived carrying a document.
He looked at Lily.
“Your father left this for you.”
Lily opened the envelope.
Inside was a letter.

Thomas watched as her expression changed.
“What is it?”

“My father left Shadow to me.”

The lawyer nodded.
“He also left the ranch.”
Thomas looked shocked.
“The ranch?”
Lily handed him the document.
“He said you protected Shadow when nobody else did.”
Thomas couldn’t speak.

But Lily didn’t care about money.
She walked toward Shadow.
The stallion lowered his head.
She placed her hand gently against his face.
“Dad was right.”
The horse closed his eyes.
