CHAPTER 3 — The Billionaire’s Revenge

By morning, the entire city knew.

The news spread faster than anyone expected.

“Socialite Isabella Rossi Exposed After Hospital Assault.”

“Security Footage Reveals Attack On Billionaire’s Pregnant Wife.”

“Luxury Charity Circle Shaken By Hidden Truth.”

The same people who once surrounded Isabella suddenly disappeared.

The invitations stopped.

The calls stopped.

The protection stopped.

Because everyone wanted to stand beside power.

But nobody wanted to stand beside a criminal.

Inside the hospital room, Khloe slowly opened her eyes.

Soft sunlight entered through the window.

For a moment, she forgot everything.

Then she remembered.

The push.

The pain.

The fear.

Her hand immediately moved to her stomach.

Marcus, sitting beside her bed, noticed.

“The baby is okay.”

Khloe looked at him.

“Really?”

He nodded.

“The doctor said the baby is strong.”

A small tear rolled down her cheek.

Not from sadness.

From relief.

Marcus reached for her hand.

“I’m sorry.”

Khloe looked confused.

“For what?”

“For not seeing what was happening sooner.”

She stared at him.

“Marcus…”

“I saw the way she looked at you.”

His voice was quiet.

“I saw the way she tried to hurt you with words.”

He paused.

“But I thought ignoring her would make her stop.”

Khloe squeezed his hand.

“You didn’t know she would do this.”

Marcus looked away.

“No.”

A long silence passed.

Then Khloe whispered:

“She wanted me gone.”

Marcus looked back at her.

“She wanted everything.”

Khloe frowned.

“What do you mean?”

Marcus took a folder from the table.

Inside were documents.

Messages.

Photos.

Evidence.

“I had my security team investigate after the footage.”

Khloe opened the folder.

Her eyes widened.

Isabella had been planning everything.

Fake rumors.

Anonymous articles.

Manipulated photos.

Private messages designed to create doubt between Marcus and Khloe.

“She wasn’t trying to ruin our marriage.”

Marcus said.

“She was trying to replace you.”

Khloe closed the folder.

For the first time, she wasn’t scared.

She was angry.

“She thought I would stay quiet.”

May you like

Marcus nodded.

“She made the biggest mistake of her life.”
