Halloway didn't run.
She didn't panic.
She simply smiled.
"You were always too emotional, Julian."
"You hurt my sister."
"No."
She stepped closer.
"I protected her."
Julian laughed bitterly.
"By drugging her?"
"By controlling her."
The confession shocked him.
Halloway continued.
"Your family was falling apart. Your father was weak. Your uncle understood something important."
"What?"
"People don't need freedom."
"They need someone to make decisions for them."
Julian stared at her.
"You destroyed a child."
Halloway's expression remained cold.
"Clara was always going to be a problem."
At that moment, Julian's phone recorded everything.
Halloway didn't notice.
She kept talking.
She revealed everything.
The medication.
The lies.
Richard's plan.
But then she looked at his phone.
Her smile disappeared.
"You recorded me."
Julian stepped back.
