Chapter 4: The Letter From The Past
Arthur had not seen his wife's handwriting in three years.
The moment he touched the paper, memories came flooding back.
The letter was written two weeks before she died.
Inside, his wife had written:
"Arthur, if something happens to me, please protect Lily."
His breathing became heavier.
Then he read the next line.
"Someone close to us is not who they appear to be."
Arthur froze.
His wife knew.

Victoria.
His wife's final warning had been about the woman now living inside his home.
That night, Arthur confronted Victoria.

"You investigated me?"
