Chapter 3: The Final Revelation

Three days later, Regina stood inside the company boardroom.

The same room where she had fired employees.

The same room where she had made people afraid.

But this time…

She was the one sitting alone.

The board members entered quietly.

At the front was Alexander Hayes.

Beside him stood Maya.

Regina laughed bitterly.

“So this is what this is about?”

She looked at Maya.

“You think you won?”

Maya remained calm.

“No.”

Regina frowned.

“I didn’t win anything.”

She placed the repaired sketchbook on the table.

“You lost because you thought other people were beneath you.”

The room became silent.

Alexander opened a folder.

Inside were Maya’s original designs.

Not just the ones Regina destroyed.

Hundreds of them.

Years of work.

It turned out Maya had studied fashion design before losing her scholarship after her mother became sick.

She worked cleaning jobs while continuing to create designs at night.

Alexander had seen her talent.

And he wanted to invest in her future.

The board members looked at Regina.

“We are ending your position as executive director.”

For the first time in years…

Regina had no response.

The woman who controlled everyone else had finally lost control of her own life.

Months later, a new fashion studio opened downtown.

The name above the entrance was:

Maya Ellis Designs.

The opening night was filled with celebrities, investors, and designers from around the world.

On the wall was Maya’s first collection.

The same collection Regina once called “fantasies.”

Isabella Laurent attended as the guest of honor.

She smiled at Maya.

“You know what’s funny?”

Maya looked at her.

“That dress disaster was the best thing that ever happened.”

Maya laughed softly.

“Because everyone saw the truth?”

Isabella nodded.

“Yes.”

“Sometimes the person everyone ignores…”

She looked around the room.

“…is the person who changes everything.”

Across the city, Regina watched the opening ceremony on television.

She saw Maya standing beneath the spotlight.

Not as an assistant.

Not as someone forgotten.

But as a respected designer.

The world finally understood something Regina never did.

Real power was never about making people afraid.

Real power was having something valuable to give.

And the woman Regina tried to destroy…

May you like

became the woman everyone remembered. **

The End.
