The private hospital suite remained silent.

He looked at her.

“Because my wife is on the floor.”
His voice became colder.
“And someone needs to explain why.”
Twenty minutes later, the security footage appeared on the hospital monitor.
Nobody spoke.
The video began.
There was Isabella walking toward Khloe.
There was the first shove.

The heel striking Khloe’s side.
The entire room watched in complete silence.
Isabella’s carefully created illusion disappeared second by second.

Marcus immediately turned.
“How is my wife?”
The doctor hesitated.

“What?”
“The impact caused complications. We need to monitor the baby closely.”
Marcus closed his eyes.
For the first time in years, the billionaire who controlled thousands of employees and billions of dollars felt completely powerless.
He walked to Khloe’s side.
Held her hand.
“I’m sorry.”
Khloe looked at him.
“You believed me.”
Marcus shook his head.
“No.”
His voice cracked.
“I should have protected you before you had to prove the truth.”
Outside the hospital room, Isabella stood alone.
