PART 2 — The Truth Hidden Behind The Mansion Walls

That night, Alexander refused to let Emma leave his side.

He took her upstairs himself.

He removed the maid uniform.

He cleaned her injured hands.

And for the first time in months…

Emma finally cried in front of someone.

Not because she was weak.

Because she was finally safe.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Alexander whispered.

Emma looked down.

“Because she said you wouldn’t believe me.”

Alexander froze.

“Who?”

Emma swallowed.

“Victoria.”

The room became silent.

“She told me you were too busy. She said if I made problems, you would send me away.”

Alexander felt something break inside him.

His own daughter had been living in fear inside her own home.

And he had never noticed.

“Emma…”

His voice trembled.

“I should have listened.”

But Emma wasn’t finished.

“She made the servants call me by my first name instead of Miss Whitmore.”

“She took away my phone.”

“She locked my bedroom door from outside.”

“She said I was lucky she allowed me to stay in the mansion.”

Every sentence felt like a knife.

Alexander walked downstairs.

Victoria was waiting.

Still holding her wine.

Still pretending she was innocent.

“You’re overreacting,” she said.

“She’s spoiled. I was teaching her humility.”

Alexander stared at the woman he married.

“No.”

Victoria’s smile faded.

“You don’t understand.”

“No,” Alexander interrupted.

“I finally understand everything.”

He placed a folder on the table.

Inside were documents.

Security reports.

House staff statements.

And hidden camera footage.

Victoria’s face changed.

Because Alexander had already investigated.

After seeing Emma’s condition, he ordered his security team to review every camera in the mansion.

And what they found was worse than he imagined.

Videos showed Victoria humiliating Emma.

Ordering her to clean floors.

Throwing away her belongings.

Laughing while Emma cried.

The woman who acted like a loving stepmother in public…

was a completely different person in private.

Victoria stood up.

“You recorded me?”

Alexander looked at her coldly.

“I recorded the truth.”

She became angry.

“You think you can destroy me?”

Alexander walked closer.

“No.”

“I think you destroyed yourself.”

The next morning, Alexander made one phone call.

Not to a lawyer.

Not to the police.

But to the board of his company.

Because Victoria had been hiding another secret.

She wasn't just cruel.

She had been stealing from the Whitmore family.

Millions of dollars had disappeared through fake charity accounts.

Accounts only she controlled.

And suddenly Alexander understood.

Emma was never the problem.

Emma was the obstacle.

May you like

Victoria wanted control.

And his daughter was the only person standing between her and everything she wanted.
